ISO 27001 is the international standard for the implementation and administration of an information security management system.
The protection and confidentiality of our clients’ data and documentation is our top priority.
Our information security management system starts with the analysis of business risks and implements all measures to ensure information security.
The main characteristic of ISO 27001 is that information security is understood as a planned, active, supervised and continuously improved process. Business objectives, external agents and internal conditions are taken into account. An essential part of the system is to regularly monitor its effectiveness.
ESmedo’s project management platform ensures compliance with the European standard EN 15038, which sets out recommended requirements for the provision of translation services. A requirement for compliance with this standard is that the customer requests a reviewing or proofreading service.
For the management and quality control of translation projects, ESmedo uses the Online Translation Manager (OTM) system, a platform certified by DIN EN 15038 and which also applies the principles of ISO 9001 and ISO 27001.
Clients who wish to do so can request their free account to access the online portal, from where they can manage all of their projects. Only a browser with Internet access is required to access OTM. The system incorporates quality control items that guarantee a perfect translation processes.
